Hello! My name is Julianne (she/her). I am a designer, educator, and leader based in the city of Philadelphia, PA which was built on Lenapehoking, the unceded land of the Lenape people. I’m excited to virtually meet you!

I founded Design Success Network in 2023 with a vision to increase the number of certified designers and, in turn, strengthen the integrity of our profession. The company focuses on providing affordable and accessible NCIDQ exam prep services through a free online forum, peer-to-peer tutoring services, and other study resources.

I graduated from Jefferson University, formerly Philadelphia University, with my Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design in 2015. I obtained my NCIDQ Certification in 2021 and serve as an Exam Ambassador. I am currently enrolled in the Masters of Architecture program at Arizona State University with an expected 2026 graduation.

As an Interior Designer at Stantec, I work on a variety of projects in the education, healthcare, transit, and civic sectors. I also serve as a Chapter Past President and a Student Affairs Liaison on the IIDA PA NJ DE Chapter board and have been active with them for over ten years.

In my free time you can find me backcountry skiing, tinkering in my home workshop, making music with The Side Chicks, and going on hikes with my three rescue dogs!

Julianne discusses her career journey into interior design, how she navigated the pandemic as a corporate workplace designer, the way that her volunteer experience with professional associations boosted her career, and the importance of interior design legislation.
